CLI and commands

Get started

  1. Install the CLI on macOS, Linux or Windows (WSL).

    curl -fsSL workpaper.co/install | sh
  2. Sign in. It opens your browser; over SSH, add --device to sign in with a code.

    workpaper auth login
  3. Start a computer and open its terminal.

    workpaper run

Commands

[name] defaults to the computer you used last

For agents and scripts

Every command takes --json and exits with a real exit code, so Claude Code, Codex or a CI job can drive it directly.

Stop after this long running, e.g. 2h. Default 1h.
WORKPAPER_NAME
Default computer name

Computers also stop after an hour with nothing running. Everything is kept.
